Job summary

VicRoads in Victoria is seeking a Casual Customer Service Officer to deliver registration and licensing services, including over the counter, telephone and written enquiries, and to conduct driver licence tests and on-road driving assessments.

You will work in a dynamic environment, provide clear instructions, resolve enquiries, and support process improvements while maintaining safety and high service standards. The role is casual, based in Hoppers Crossing with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills with a positive can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Adaptability and flexibility with change and new methods.
• Full valid driver’s license is required (no P Plates).

Responsibilities

• Deliver registration and licensing services over the counter, by phone and in writing, including driver licence tests and on-road driving assessments.
• Investigate and resolve customer enquiries and complaints, escalating where required.
• Provide clear instructions, assess driving performance, and maintain a safe testing environment.
• Identify process improvements and support change initiatives.
• Help the team achieve performance targets and support colleagues.
