Job summary

Murrindindi Shire Council is seeking an Asset Protection Officer in Alexandra to protect public infrastructure during development and growth. You will inspect assets, issue permits, and ensure compliance while collaborating with developers, contractors and residents.

This position is responsible for protecting Council's public assets during development while supporting sustainable growth and delivering quality customer service.

About this opportunity

As the Asset Protection Officer, you will be responsible for administering Council's asset protection processes, ensuring public infrastructure is safeguarded throughout building and development activities. Working closely with developers, builders, contractors, residents and internal stakeholders, you will undertake inspections, provide advice, and monitor compliance with Council's asset protection requirements.

You will:
