About the Opportunity

Reporting into the executive team, this newly created role is accountable for the strategic management and optimisation of a diverse asset portfolio. You will oversee plant and equipment, vehicles, buildings, inventory, and associated services, while leading a small team spanning procurement, logistics, and building services. Key deliverables include implementing an asset management plan, embedding procurement strategies, driving cost savings and process improvements, streamlining inventory control, and supporting ERP adoption for data-driven decision-making. You’ll also provide leadership oversight to building services, ensuring compliance and readiness for future needs. This is a role where you can combine vision and practical execution to deliver measurable value in a close-knit team with a strong community.

About You

You are a proven leader in asset management or operations, with experience managing the full lifecycle of plant, vehicles, or infrastructure assets. You bring demonstrated success working in a hands-on SME environment, capably leading a small team while delivering results. Commercially sharp and strategically minded, you know how to implement procurement and supplier management practices that drive cost savings and improve reliability. You are confident leading multidisciplinary teams, comfortable working with systems and data to achieve outcomes, and thrive in practical environments where you can influence executive decision-making. Tertiary qualifications in engineering, supply chain, or business will be well regarded, along with experience in industrial, construction, or manufacturing sectors.

What’s on Offer

This is an opportunity to join a long-established and diversified industrial group with strong roots and a respected reputation. You’ll be empowered to influence strategic decisions, lead a centralisation project with full executive support, and shape the future of asset and supply chain operations. Alongside a competitive package with performance incentives and vehicle benefits, the role offers the lifestyle appeal of a Gold Coast base and the chance to make a lasting impact in a business that values innovation, stability, and community.
