Job summary

Agri Talent Pty, on behalf of a long-standing Australian owned agribusiness, seeks an Asset & Engineering Manager for its Tongala, VIC beef processing facility.

This hands-on leadership role reshapes the maintenance function across multi-shift operations, reporting to the Plant Manager and collaborating with the Group Asset Manager to establish planned maintenance, improve reliability, and strengthen team performance.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on maintenance experience in a related field.
• Experience leading change management within a multi-shift operation.
• Strong ability to develop, coach and manage a maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritise maintenance across site to minimise downtime.
• Lead and develop a multi-shift maintenance team with coaching.
• Implement preventative maintenance and new CMMS rollout.
• Manage maintenance budgets, CAPEX and monthly reporting.
• Coordinate external contractors to meet site standards and uptime targets.
