ConnectSydney, a joint venture of ServiceStream, Boral, and Johnson Controls, in partnership with Transport for NSW (TfNSW), is entrusted with the management of the Harbour Zone. Our responsibilities encompass routine maintenance, strategic enhancements, and specialised projects aimed at bolstering Sydney's transport infrastructure.
The Asset Engineer - Culverts role is a 12-month fixed term role established to process a substantial backlog of subcontractor-collected culvert and pit inspection data and bring it into the asset management systems. While working through the backlog, the Asset Engineer will also assist in managing ongoing inspection programs, ensuring accurate asset data, timely inspections, and effective defect resolution, and will contribute to lifecycle planning, tactical works programs, and continuous improvement of asset management systems.
The Asset Engineer will report to the Strategic Asset Manager and will assist the Network Needs Team in managing Civil Assets, primarily Culverts, across the Sydney Harbour Zone of the Sydney Road Assets Performance Contract (SRAPC).
This role will be based from our Rockdale office (hybrid working available - 3 days in office).
