The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 7 years of asset management experience, with strong skills in project coordination and communication. They take care of building and maintaining the power network, making sure everything runs smoothly, and upgrading things when needed.

About the opportunity

As the Asset Development Manager, you’ll lead the early stages of planning, designing, and costing multiple customer projects up to the value $400 million. These projects focus on developing non-regulated and contestable transmission network assets.

You’ll also coordinate technical teams and external partners to deliver feasibility studies, detailed project scopes, and competitive estimates, along with helping connect large-scale generation, storage, and energy users to the transmission network.

An attractive salary will be offered to the successful candidate, along with the flexibility of hybrid working options available.

This role will be ideal for someone that has previously demonstrated experience in asset management that has a minimum of 7 years experience in a similar role.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering degree
  • Hold your Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) would be ideal
  • Have extensive experience in high voltage transmission network infrastructure
  • Have demonstrated experience in High Voltage Substation and Transmission Line design
  • Strong verbal and written skills that includes preparing reports for technical and non technical stakeholders
