Job summary

Glen Eira City Council is seeking an experienced asset information and data professional to maintain high-quality asset data and support Asset Management Information Systems across the organisation. You will help deliver data-driven insights, support users and drive improvements in asset data governance and reporting.

You will collaborate with multiple teams, develop dashboards, and contribute to strategic asset management outcomes while upholding the council’s commitment to service excellence

Qualifications

• Qualifications in data, information systems, IT, asset management or related field.
• Experience supporting asset management systems, GIS and related applications.
• Knowledge of asset lifecycle management, governance and information principles.
• Experience with asset capitalisation, onboarding and maintaining asset registers.
• Strong data management, analytics and reporting, including dashboards and QA.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across diverse teams.
• Experience developing documentation, training materials and user support resources.
• Exposure to Confirm, Power BI, SQL, GIS, ERP/Finance systems or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Administer and improve Asset Management Information Systems and related tools.
• Oversee asset data and registers across infrastructure and community assets.
• Develop and deliver asset reporting, dashboards and analytics.
• Support asset data governance and system integration across corporate systems.
• Drive continuous improvement of asset management practices and data quality.
