Job summary

JBWere within NAB Sydney is seeking Head of Asset Allocation to lead strategic and tactical asset allocation across diversified portfolios on our leading wealth platform. You will influence portfolio positioning, currency strategy and investment outcomes while serving advisers and clients.

In this role, you will work with the Private Wealth & JBWere team, participate in CIO Office investment committees and drive macroeconomic research, portfolio modelling and analytics to improve client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in asset allocation, portfolio construction and capital markets.
• Advanced quantitative and analytical capabilities across modelling and investment risk.
• Strong understanding of macroeconomics and market drivers.
• Proven leadership experience developing high-performing investment teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high performing team across strategic and tactical asset allocation across diversified portfolios.
• Develop capital market assumptions, benchmark frameworks and currency strategy.
• Drive macroeconomic research and portfolio construction decisions.
• Enhance portfolio modelling, analytics and investment infrastructure capabilities.
• Deliver market insights through adviser briefings, publications and client engagement.
