Job summary

Baker Hughes in Australia is seeking an ARMO Tech - Equip II to perform assembly and re-dress of completions and well intervention equipment, ensuring quality and safety. You will work with the team to meet work orders in SAP and collaborate with leads to identify third-party repair requirements.

Candidates should have at least two years in oilfield assembly/maintenance, a high school diploma, and ideally mechanic certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of related assembly, repair, maintenance and overhaul experience in oilfield industry.
• Mechanic certification is preferred.
• Experience with completion tools is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and/or re-dress of completions & well intervention equipment in full compliance.
• Ensure work orders are completed with paperwork in SAP.
• Adhere to quality requirements and stop-work when needed to ensure quality.
• Liaise with leads to identify third-party repair requirements and process accordingly.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and elevate for review/implementation.
