Cook's Body Works in Melbourne is seeking assemblers for automotive accessories at our Moorabbin factory. This casual role offers a 38-hour week with overtime, and potential progression to permanent full-time positions after a three-month assessment. Day shifts run 6:30am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday.
You will assemble vehicle bodies, lockers, doors, curtains, panels and accessories using basic hand tools and other machinery, with opportunities to grow within the business for the long term.
Due to our continued success Cook's Body Works have a number of positions for assemblers of automotive accessories being built around our series of standard and custom automotive accessories for vans, utilities and rigid trucks at out Moorabbin factory. Cook's Body Works is an Australian owned and operated business founded in 1932 and a leader in the utility and truck body industry.
You will be joining the team as a casual employee working Monday to Friday on a 38 hour week shift, with overtime available based on work load and your skills. The position involves a variety of tasks associated with assembly of vehicle bodies, lockers, doors, curtains, paneling, locking mechanisms, shelving, draws and the mounting of accessories onto vehicles using basic hand tools and other machinery.Positions are available in both our Heavy (Truck) and Light (Utility) Assembly areas and are open to both entry level and experienced applicants.Based on the applicant training will be provided as required.
Following an assessment period of three months a permanent full time or further contract positions will be offered to suitable candidates.
Day shifts run from 6:30am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday.
