Job summary

FSM (Food Service Machinery) Pty Ltd in Laverton North, VIC is seeking a reliable Assembler to join our small, friendly team. You'll assemble stainless steel products using hand, air and power tools, receive and dispatch goods, and help prepare materials for production.

This full-time role operates Monday to Friday 8:00–16:30. We value safety, accuracy and teamwork, offer on-the-job training and opportunities to grow, and provide a supportive environment with a varied day.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• High attention to detail and a strong safety focus.
• Ability to follow clear instructions (written and verbal).
• A team player who can also work independently.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Forklift license preferred but not essential.
• Any welding experience should be highlighted but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assemble stainless steel products using hand, air, and power tools.
• Receive, unpack, label, and dispatch goods accurately.
• Wrapping and packing finished products.
• Getting materials ready for assembly.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, ladders).
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Follow established manufacturing processes.
• Identify materials needed and support purchasing.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assemble stainless steel products using hand, air, and power tools

• Receive, unpack, label, and dispatch goods accurately

• Wrapping and packing finished products

• Getting materials ready for assembly
