Job summary

Freedom Furniture in North Ryde is seeking a Merchandise Planning Analyst to drive sales, inventory and profitability through analysis, forecasting and stock management. Based at our North Ryde Support Centre, you will collaborate with Planning, Buying and Supply Planning to support category performance and deliver commercial insights.

The role focuses on analysing performance, preparing weekly reports, and supporting Open-to-Buy, replenishment and promotions with a commercially minded approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandise planning, allocation, replenishment, inventory management or retail analysis.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Understanding of retail KPIs, forecasting and inventory management.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Organised, proactive and commercially minded.

Responsibilities

• Analyse sales, stock and category performance.
• Prepare weekly reports and performance insights.
• Support forecasting, financial planning and Open-to-Buy processes.
• Assist with replenishment, allocations and inventory management.
• Support promotions, range reviews and new product launches.
• Identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Partner with Buying, Supply Planning and key business stakeholders.
