Job summary

Thrive is seeking a Trainee Educator to join our team in Coniston, NSW. You will assist in the development and implementation of educational programs and activities, supporting educators, creating lesson materials, and helping students in the classroom and during extracurricular activities.

The ideal candidate is 18 or older with strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, and a passion for learning and education. Training will be provided to help you grow in this field.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• 18 years and over.
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators and other staff members.
• Passion for education and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs and activities
• Work with educators to create lesson plans and educational materials
• Provide support to students in the classroom and during extracurricular activities
• Monitor student progression and provide feedback to educators
• Attend training sessions and workshops to improve skills and knowledge
• Participate in meetings with educators and parents to discuss student progress and needs
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
