Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a permanent, full-time Asphalt Plant Operator for the Mackay facility. The role focuses on asphalt production, manual labour, and operating production equipment. There may be opportunities for additional shifts, including nights and weekends.

Applicants with asphalt plant experience are preferred, but transferable skills from related industries are welcome. Training and support will be provided to help you grow within the role.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Be a focused, reliable team player.
• Able to multi-task effectively.
• Hold a current Construction Induction Card (White Card) and valid driver’s licence.
• Experience operating a front-end loader and/or skid steer.
• Experience working in asphalt plants.

Responsibilities

• Involved in asphalt production and associated manual labour.
• Operate production equipment as part of daily duties.
• Opportunity for additional shifts, including nights and weekends during busy periods.
