Job summary

Downer is hiring a Laboratory Technician based at our Devon Street laboratory in Rosehill. You will perform asphalt and construction materials testing in the lab and also conduct field tests on-site, with opportunities to travel to project locations.

The role requires a P Licence and a proactive, safety-focused mindset. You will work on day and night shifts, contribute to accurate testing records, and participate in ongoing training and nationally recognised qualifications to advance your career

Qualifications

• Current P Licence minimum.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform asphalt and construction materials testing in the lab.
• Carry out field testing across civil and infrastructure projects.
• Pavement coring and sample collection.
• Maintain accurate testing records and results.
