Job description

From 1 September 2026, the prescriber accreditation requirement for hepatitis B medicines under the PBS Section 100 (s100) Highly Specialised Drugs Program will be removed. As a result, all medical and authorised nurse practitioners will be able to prescribe hepatitis B antiviral treatment without additional specialist accreditation. ASHM is currently updating its website, education and resources to reflect this change.

ASHM is looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to provide practical administrative and operational support.

The final offer within the advertised range will depend on the successful candidate’s skills and experience.

Description

ASHM is a not-for-profit organisation seeking a People & Culture Coordinator to provide practical administrative and operational support to the P&C Manager across the employee lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their HR career to gain practical experience across recruitment, onboarding, employee records, payroll coordination, reporting and P&C projects.

About You

You’re organised, proactive and keen to build your career in People & Culture. You enjoy providing reliable administrative support, take pride in getting the details right, and understand the importance of creating a positive experience for employees and managers.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Takes a practical, service-oriented approach and follows through on tasks and commitments.
  • Is confident engaging with employees, managers and external stakeholders.
  • Is adaptable, willing to learn and keen to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
