Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to perform surveying and non-air testing works across various sites. The ideal candidate should hold P402, P403, and P404 qualifications, with extensive experience in the asbestos industry. Candidates will be responsible for conducting clearances, management surveys, and reporting on findings while ensuring all work follows health and safety regulations. This role is suitable for trainees through to lead surveyors, with a competitive salary range of £22k to £35k plus training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold the P402, P403, P404 or RSPH equivalent qualification.
• Will have good working knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation.
• Will ideally have extensive experience within the asbestos industry.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out 4-stage clearances: smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
• Undertaking management, demolition and refurbishment surveys on a mixed range of sites.
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients.
• Using information from the site to produce detailed reports for clients.
• Supervising contractors on site and ensuring that all work is being carried out in line with relevant health and safety procedures.
