The role involves conducting management and refurbishment surveys and liaising with clients to ensure high standards. Qualifications

• Ability to sample suspected ACMs and ensure correct procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conducting re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
• Liaising with clients and providing consultancy advice.
• Producing detailed reports using TEAMS / TRACKER.

We have an industry leading Asbestos Consultancy with a strong presence in the South of England, looking to take on an enthusiastic and hard‑working Asbestos Surveyor. You will join a team of longstanding and professional Asbestos Surveyors to deliver high‑end asbestos services and maintain the company’s high standards and reputation. The role is ideal for someone who wants to undertake asbestos surveys across commercial and industrial sites, predominantly covering East Anglia. Our client can offer training into further Pcert modules, a company pension scheme and an excellent holiday allowance.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Sudbury, Newmarket, Cambridge, Huntingdon, Peterborough, Thetford, Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth, Norwich, Swaffham, Kings Lynn, Downham Market, Wisbech, March, Saffron Walden, Braintree, Chelmsford, Colchester, Clacton‑on‑Sea, Harlow, Cheshunt, Basildon, Southend‑on‑Sea, Brentwood.

Experience & Qualifications

• Mandatory: BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent.
• Hands on experience working for an established Asbestos Consultancy.
• Fully conversant with HSG 264 guidelines.
• Able to use industry relevant systems (TEAMS / TRACKER).
• Also interested in anyone with P401/P402/P403/P404/S301/CCP.

The Role

• Carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
• Conducting re‑inspection surveys upon completion of work.
• Sampling suspected ACMs, ensuring proper bagging, labeling, and sending for analysis.
• Liaising with clients, providing consultancy advice and support.
• Gathering information on site and using TEAMS / TRACKER to produce detailed reports.
• Ensuring work carried out on site complies with HSG 264 guidelines.
