Job summary

Aestec Services is seeking experienced asbestos removal professionals to join our Gladstone-based operations. This role offers local work with overtime opportunities and long-term career potential within a safety-focused local company.

You will be part of our industrial maintenance team, performing asbestos removal and related activities across the Gladstone region, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork. Local residents are encouraged to apply for long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• A Class or B Class asbestos removal certification required.
• Construction White Card required.
• QAL / BSL / RTAY Blue Medipass, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Performing A Class Asbestos Removal in accordance with legislative, safety and environmental requirements.
• Constructing, maintaining and managing asbestos enclosures to ensure safe containment.
• Assisting with asbestos clean-up, disposal and decontamination activities.
• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and site safety.
• Working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver safe and quality outcomes.

About the Role

Working as part of our industrial maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for a range of asbestos removal and associated activities across the Gladstone region.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• PerformingA Class Asbestos Removalin accordance with legislative, safety and environmental requirements
• Constructing, maintaining and managing asbestos enclosures to ensure safe containment
• Assisting with asbestos clean-up, disposal and decontamination activities
• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and site safety
• Working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver safe and quality outcomes

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for experienced, reliable and safety-focused people who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a team.

• A Class and/or B Class Asbestos Removal Certification
• Construction White Card
• QAL / BSL / RTAY Blue Medipass, or willingness to obtain
