Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing Australia in Girraween, NSW, is seeking two full-time Laboratory Technicians to join our asbestos analysis team. You will receive and process samples, perform microscopy to identify asbestos, and ensure accreditation standards are maintained under ISO 17025.

The role offers Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:00pm shifts with an extra 1.5% superannuation on top of the national standard rate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related field.
• Willingness to learn and improve.
• Hands-on worker with a common-sense approach.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort samples and prepare log sheets.
• Analyse asbestos samples via microscopy.
• Perform ISO 17025 compliant methods and quality control procedures.
• Assist in proficiency testing and inventory management.
