Job summary

Blacktown City Council is seeking a Coordinator Operations and Administration to shape operational readiness for a new arts centre and cultural precinct while keeping current programs running smoothly. You will coordinate systems, people and resources supporting exhibitions, events, workshops and community programs across Blacktown Arts.

• Experience coordinating staffing, rosters, procurement, contractors and volunteers.
• Budget preparation and reporting experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to oversee front of house, box office, and venue operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing, rosters, procurement, contractors and volunteers; oversee front of house and box office services; manage venue operations and support artists, suppliers and creative teams.
• Prepare budgets and reports; monitor expenditure; coordinate meetings; maintain records and databases; ensure facilities, equipment, security and cleaning services are in place and operating effectively.
• Work across Blacktown Arts venues to ensure events and programs are well organised, safe and welcoming.
