Job summary

PWE Quarry Services is seeking an experienced Dump Truck Operator to join their team at Nyora, VIC. You will be responsible for operating articulated dump trucks and ensuring safety, quality and environmental standards are met on site.

Key requirements include an Artic Dump truck ticket, a valid Driver's license, a White Card and quarry experience. You will work with a cohesive team, complete site inductions and documentation, and contribute to continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Artic Dump truck ticket is required.
• Valid Driver's license and White Card are essential.
• Experience working in a quarry environment is preferred.
• A proactive, organized approach and initiative are expected.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical assessment including drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks safely to meet production targets.
• Maintain safety, quality and environmental standards for self and team.
• Complete site inductions and follow SWMS/SOPs.
• Record timesheets, take site documentation from crew, and attend pre-start meetings.
• Assist with continuous improvements and monitor operational performance.

PWE Quarry Services are currently seeking an experienced Dump Truck Operator to join their dynamic, successful team based at Nyora, VIC.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Responsible for your own and fellow coworkers Safety, Quality and Environmental

• Report any incidents, near misses and hazards immediately to PWE management.

• Punctuality with start, finish and break times.

• Must be able to work in a cohesive team environment .

• Complete site specific inductions.

• Sign on to all relevant SWMS and SOP's.

• Complete documentation where required e.g. Take S's, Timesheets etc.

• Pre-start meeting attendance and consultation with the team every morning.

• Responsible for Continuous improvement. Monitor and analyse operational performance, implementing improvements as necessary.

• Work inline to all client provided documentation and requirements.

• Performance in conjunction with Legislative Requirements and PWE documentation including Policies, SWMS, SOP's, Management Plans.

• Driver's license and White Card
• Experience working in a quarry environment
• Use of initiative, proactive and organised approached to work
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment (including Drug and Alcohol Testing)
• May lead to full time employment
