Job summary

Airservices Australia is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, design, construction and commissioning of ARFFS infrastructure across the national airport network. You will work closely with contractors, consultants and operational stakeholders to deliver new and upgraded ARFFS stations that support aviation safety across Australia.

The role involves managing all phases from concept design through to construction, commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering complex construction, infrastructure or facilities projects from design through to commissioning.
• Strong understanding of procurement, tender management and contract administration.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, risks and contractor performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, construction and commissioning of ARFFS infrastructure nationwide.
• Manage governance, procurement, tendering and contract administration across projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to ensure safety, quality and delivery.
• Provide progress reporting and ensure successful handover to operations.
