Job summary

Amazon in Australia is seeking Area Manager Interns to help drive sortation and line haul infrastructure across sites in Victoria and beyond. You will join a mentorship-focused internship program with real project deliverables and exposure to Amazon Operations.

You will work with Area Managers, review processes, learn Kaizen methods, and have a relocation stipend if needed. The program runs for three months (Dec 2026–Feb 2027), with potential for a graduate opportunity.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year student in Supply chain/logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Strong interest in process improvement.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Comfort with ambiguity and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Review transportation process from Fulfillment Centres to delivery stations.
• Measure bandwidth in sortation team to ensure peak time delivery.
• Assist Area Managers to review performance appraisals and mentor supervisors.
• Improve throughput and sustain delivery performance.
• Analyze data reports to identify bottlenecks and improve performance.
• Research process control and Kaizen improvements.
