Amazon Logistics Ravenhall is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of associates at the Ravenhall, VIC delivery station. You will drive safety, quality, attendance and performance, ensuring orders are delivered on time and to the right location.

The role requires coaching, data-driven improvements, and collaboration with Area Managers to mentor station supervisors and sustain high throughput.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to push and pull wheeled dollies up to 100 pounds during shifts.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor the station team to achieve safety, quality and delivery targets.
• Review and optimize transportation from fulfilment centres to delivery stations.
• Ensure adequate bandwidth in sortation to meet peak delivery times.
• Coach supervisors and drive continuous improvement in operations.
• Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and improve performance.
• Apply process control and lean improvement practices (e.g., Kaizen).

Here at Amazon we are currently seeking for experienced Area Manager to join the business and play a critical role in leading our team of associates within our Delivery Station in Ravenhall, VIC

Do you have a passion for motivating, mentoring, and coaching a team? Do you pride yourself in maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance and performance? As an Area Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining our customer expectations to ensure customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location.

The hours of the role are Wed - Saturday 01:00 - 11:00

Key job responsibilities

• Reviewing and understanding the transportation process from Fulfilment Centres to delivery stations
• Measure and Ensure enough bandwidth in sortation team to ensure peak time delivery management
• Assist and work alongside Area Managers to review performance appraisals of the station supervisors and learn on how to mentor them for handling efficient operations
• Continuously improve the through put and attain a sustained level of delivery performance improvement
• Review and assist on analysis of the data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve the performance
• Research and review on the formal process control and process improvement mechanisms such as Kaizen

You will be an inspiring leader within our Delivery Stations, where you will work to continuously improve the efficiency of delivery processes, ensuring that customer orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively as possible. Along with your peers, you’ll ensure that all workflows run smoothly and that customer expectations are met, if not exceeded.

Basic qualifications

• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
