Job summary

SIXT Australia, part of the NRMA family, is seeking an Area Manager to lead our North Lakes and Burpengary locations on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term basis. This hands-on leadership role coaches teams, resolves operations challenges, and ensures vehicle availability for customers.

You will drive performance, build a high-performing team culture, manage rostering and costs, and support fleet planning to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Operational leadership experience in car rental, transport, logistics, fleet, tourism, hospitality or similar environments.
• Proven ability to coach staff, manage performance and foster accountability.
• Experience handling customer issues, escalations, and delivering high service levels.
• Comfort with KPIs, budgets, productivity metrics and operational reporting.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and keep operations running smoothly.
• Willingness to support frontline operations and lead by example.

• Lead the overall performance of North Lakes and Burpengary locations.

Your Skills

Car rental experience will be highly regardedbutis not essential.
