Job summary

I-MED Radiology Network in Launceston, Tasmania, seeks an experienced Senior Radiographer advancing to an Area Chief role. You will lead a team across four clinics, oversee a broad range of modalities including MRI, CT, cath lab, NM/PET, theatre, mammography, BMD, general X-ray, and ultrasound, shaping service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in radiology settings and clinical units.
• Experience supervising imaging examinations to industry standards.
• Excellent communication with radiologists, patients and staff.
• Strong commitment to patient care and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership across Launceston radiology clinics.
• Oversee day-to-day radiography services, rostering and modality management.
• Lead staff development, performance management and coaching.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and productivity to meet targets.
• Ensure high-quality imaging across MRI, CT, ultrasound and X-ray.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain service levels and quality.
