Job summary

Prima Architectural, part of the Schiavello Group in Melbourne, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join the team.

You will prepare tenders, determine material requirements, and liaise with clients, architects and project managers to keep schedules and costs on track. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and proficiency with estimating software and the full MS Office suite.

Qualifications

• Experience with estimating software
• Experience in architectural joinery
• Ability to read commercial specs and architectural documentation
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete accurate tenders reflecting the project brief
• Determine raw material requirements
• Liaise with clients, government agencies, architects, project managers and subcontractors to meet schedules
• Ensure production costs stay within budget
• Provide timely escalations to management as needed
