Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking an Aquatic Operations Coordinator for our Bendigo venue. You will coordinate daily operations with emphasis on safety and high-quality service, leading Duty Managers and Lifeguards while managing hazards and ensuring compliance.

The role is a seasonal venue from November to April, requiring flexibility to cover mornings, evenings and weekend shifts. Strong leadership and WH&S knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience and ability to inspire a team.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of WH&S legislation, evacuation and emergency procedures.
• Demonstrated experience in plant room management and pool operations.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Current First Aid Level 2 and CPR certificates.
• National Police Check required.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
• Current Pool Operations Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day facility operations with a focus on safety and service delivery.
• Lead, coach and engage a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
• Oversee hazard prevention and operational risk management.
