Overview

For Aquaculture Team Leaders, Supervisors, and Coxswains to ensure optimal oyster production and team guidance for a dedicated aquaculture operation. A Permanent Full-Time position within a thriving coastal business.

Salary guide: $80,000 - $95,000 per annum.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and mentoring a team of Aquaculture Attendants and Graduates on daily tasks.
  • Performing oyster husbandry, ensuring oyster health, growth, and performance.
  • Operating and maintaining vessels, forklifts, and other farm machinery.
  • Maintaining farm infrastructure and gear, including ropes, baskets, and pontoons.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and organic/sustainability standards.
  • Troubleshooting operational issues and contributing to process improvements.
  • Coordinating production flow with regional teams.
  • Reporting data such as incidents, hazards, production metrics, and team performance.
