Job summary

Salmon Group Ltd is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to build stable end-to-end test coverage for the web SPA as the product scales. You will reduce regression risk and ensure critical user flows remain reliable.

You will work with JavaScript/TypeScript and Playwright to automate web UI tests, collaborate with developers to fix flaky tests, and contribute to performance and load considerations from a quality perspective.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing end-to-end automation for SPA applications.
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and Playwright for web UI tests.
• Ability to debug unstable or flaky UI tests and improve test stability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain E2E automated tests for the web SPA using Playwright.
• Extend regression coverage across key screens and user journeys.
• Include screenshot and visual testing where relevant.
• Participate in manual acceptance testing for new features and UI changes.
• Contribute to page performance and load optimization from a quality perspective.

About The Role

You'll build stable end-to-end test coverage for the web SPA — reducing regression risk and keeping critical user flows reliable as the product scales.

What You'll Do

• Work on E2E automated testing of a web SPA as the main user interaction layer, covering key screens and critical user journeys.
• Build and extend regression coverage using Playwright (JavaScript), including screenshot and visual testing.
• Collaborate with developers to debug flaky tests, investigate issues, and improve overall test stability.

• Build and maintain E2E automated tests for the web SPA using Playwright (JavaScript).

What Makes You a Strong Fit
