A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Senior Communications and Campaigns Officer in Canberra. This role involves developing and delivering national campaigns, creating impactful content, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve public health outcomes. Candidates should have a background in communications and excellent interpersonal skills. The position offers a salary range of $95k - $110k plus superannuation, with flexibility in working arrangements.
HorizonOne is supporting a large federal government department, which develops and implements policies and programs while providing expert advice to the Australian Government on health, aged care, disability, and related services. The department engages with a diverse range of stakeholders to improve outcomes and support the wellbeing of all Australians. Its branch plays a key role in achieving these outcomes by delivering strategic communication and engagement services, ensuring stakeholders remain central to planning and decision-making.
In this diverse role, you will take part in communicating key public health messages, which will see you take part in the strategic planning and end-to-end development and delivery of a large-scale national campaign. You will create engaging, impactful content for national campaigns, collaborate with key collaborators, and build strong relationships with stakeholders to maximise the campaign’s reach and impact.
You will have tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, media and/or more experience working at the APS6 level within state or federal government in a media, campaigns and/or strategic communications role.
