Job summary

A prominent software company based in New South Wales is looking for an APS6 OPA/OIA Software Engineer to undertake key responsibilities including developing Oracle Intelligent Advisor solutions and gathering requirements from business owners. Candidates must have experience with Oracle Policy Modelling and demonstrate a solid understanding of various software development methodologies. This role is open only to Australian citizens residing in Australia.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in OIA solutions and familiarity with OIA connector frame.
• Ability to document technical solutions in detail.
• Experience applying a variety of Software Development methodologies including waterfall and agile.

Responsibilities

• Undertake tasks relating to OIA and assist business owners in translating requirements.
• Write business specifications and develop integration with Siebel.

APS6 OPA/OIA Software Engineer (Developer)

Job Description:

Key duties and responsibilities

OPA is required to undertake tasks that include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Proven experience in Oracle Intelligent Advisor (OIA) solutions, OIA including familiarity with the OIA connector framework, styling extensions and OIA APIs;
• Experience writing rules in OIAs Oracle Policy Modelling (OPM) development tool; Ability to document technical solutions in detail; * Demonstrable architectural or business designer experience would be an advantage;
• Skills in the integration of OIA with Siebel would be an advantage;
• Ability to elicit requirements from business owners and translate these requirements into specifications;
• Demonstrable experience applying a wide variety of Software Development methodologies including waterfall, agile etc.
