APS5 Data Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and analyse operational data to support regional performance and service delivery insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Salesforce, and SAS.
• Conduct systematic research and analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in service operations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver tailored reporting solutions.
• Support the development and implementation of data quality assurance processes.

Skills & Experience Required

• Demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualisation.
• Sound understanding of the role of data in supporting regional service operations.
• Awareness of the broader strategic and operational context affecting data use and reporting.
• Experience in translating complex data into meaningful insights for non-technical audiences
• Tertiary qualifications in data analytics, statistics, information systems, or a related field is desirable.
• Experience with government data systems and reporting frameworks.
• Familiarity with APS policies, procedures, and service delivery standards
