Job summary

BT Plumbing and Gas is seeking apprentice plumbers from 1st to 4th year for full‑time work on residential and commercial projects across the Sunshine Coast. The role offers above award wages, weekly pay, and hands‑on learning with mentoring from qualified plumbers.

We provide accredited TAFE/RTO training and support to transfer or complete your apprenticeship, with pathways to licensure in the 3rd and 4th years.

Qualifications

• First years: no experience needed.
• Current apprentices: tell us which year you’re in and what work you’ve done so far.
• A real interest in a plumbing career and a good work ethic are expected.

Responsibilities

• Roughing in water and gas.
• Roof work, flashings and downpipes.
• Fitting off fixtures and appliances.
• Sewer and stormwater drainage.
• Working safely on residential and commercial sites.

Whether you’re just starting out or in your final year, BT Plumbing and Gas wants to hear from you. We’re a family-owned Sunshine Coast business looking for keen apprentices, from first year through to fourth year, to learn from our experienced team on residential and commercial jobs across the Coast.

What we offer:

Full-time apprenticeship with above award wages, paid weekly

Changing employers? We’ll help transfer your apprenticeship and get you started quickly

In your 3rd or 4th year? We’ll help you finish your apprenticeship, get your licence and stay on as a qualified plumber

What you’ll learn and work on:

What you’ll need:

A current driver’s licence (a manual licence is a bonus)

A White Card
