Job summary

Complete Plumbing & Building Services Pty Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated First year Apprentice Plumber to join our growing team. Based in Loganholme, QLD, this is a full-time apprenticeship combining practical on-site training with formal education.

You will train under experienced plumbers, learn to install and repair plumbing systems, and complete your formal apprenticeship to become a qualified tradesperson.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in the plumbing trade and strong work ethic.

• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Willingness to learn and take feedback to develop skills.
• Current Australian Drivers Licence and own ute desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced plumbers on residential and commercial projects.
• Learn to install, maintain and repair plumbing systems.
• Prepare worksites and uphold health and safety standards.
• Carry out basic tasks such as cutting/bending pipes and laying drainage.
• Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
• Read plumbing plans and specifications and follow procedures.
• Attend formal plumbing apprenticeship training and maintain a tidy site.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Complete Plumbing & Building Services Pty Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated First year Apprentice Plumber to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your career in the plumbing trade through a structured apprenticeship programme that combines practical on-site training with formal education. Based in Loganholme, QLD, this is a full-time position where you will work alongside experienced plumbers, learning the essential skills and knowledge required to become a qualified tradesperson. This role is fundamental to developing the next generation of skilled plumbers in our organisation and contributing to the delivery of high-quality plumbing services to our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting experienced plumbers on residential, commercial plumbing projects
• Learning to install, maintain and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures and fittings
• Preparing work sites, ensuring health and safety standards are met at all times
• Carrying out basic plumbing tasks under supervision, such as cutting and bending pipes and laying underground drainage
• Using hand and power tools safely and correctly
• Reading and interpreting plumbing plans and specifications
• Following health and safety regulations and company procedures
• Attending and completing formal plumbing apprenticeship training at an accredited training provider
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Communicating effectively with team members and customers

What we're looking for

• You possess a genuine interest in the plumbing trade and a strong work ethic
• You are physically fit and able to perform manual work, including lifting and working at heights
• You demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
• You are reliable, punctual and have a professional attitude
• You are willing to learn and take on feedback to develop your skills
• You hold a current Australian Driver's Licence & own ute
• You are able to commit to a four-year apprenticeship programme
• Is available to work full time, start early and the occasional night works when required
• Previous experience/prevocational course would be advantageous but not essential
