Job summary

Squad, in conjunction with our Host Employer, is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as an Apprentice Parks and Gardens in the Northern Beaches Sydney area. This role provides hands-on outdoor experience and an opportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification.

You will perform grounds maintenance, mowing, pruning, litter clearance, and operate basic tools. The apprenticeship program includes tuition coverage and PPE supplied at start, with contracted hours of 38 per

• Own transport or access to transport is beneficial.

The Role

This role comes with a plenty of variety and the chance to get highly sought after experience. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

• Ground maintenance including mowing, hedging, blowing down, pruning, weeding, and planting
• Lawn and garden care
• Clearing litter & debris
• Operating and maintaining equipment & tools.
• General maintenance tasks

What are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have the following;

• You will demonstrate a genuine passion and the resilience required for physical work outdoors.
• Car and Licence
• Commitment to complete an apprenticeship
• You will be physically fit and have a “can-do” attitude.

Locations: Northern Beaches Sydney

Contracted Hours: 38hrs
Salary Range: $615 - $1065 per week
Commencement Date: ASAP
