Job summary

Maxbutts Auto Bodyworks on the Gold Coast is seeking an apprentice panel beater to learn in a busy accident repair shop. You will assist with repairing, replacing damaged panels, panel preparation, and fitment of body hardware while building fundamental skills.

We value reliability, safety consciousness, and a genuine interest in a career in panel beating. Applications from all ages are welcomed; Australian citizenship or working rights are required.

Qualifications

Maxbutts Auto Bodyworks is an accident repair panel shop located in Ashmore Queensland and is part of the WGBW Group based in Victoria. We are looking for an apprentice panel beater to join our team.

Duties will include:

• Communicate with customers
• Repair, remove or replace damaged panels and sub-structures
• Use metal welding and modern bonding techniques
• File, grind and sand panel surfaces
• Re-fit body hardware such as door locks
• Be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
• Immediate start for the right candidates
