Job summary

JBS Scone Plant is offering an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter position starting early next year. You will gain hands-on maintenance experience and contribute to plant reliability while following safety and quality practices.

You will train on-the-job under experienced tradespeople, attend TAFE as required, and develop the technical and organisational skills needed to progress your career as a trades professional.

• Demonstrated interest in the trade.
• Organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.

Responsibilities

• Participate and complete on- and off-the-job training to become a fully qualified electrician.
• Follow safe work practices and procedures.
• Work with and under the supervision of tradespeople.
• Follow all instructions from tradespeople and supervisors.
• Attend TAFE as required.
