Job summary

mycar Tyre & Auto is seeking driven apprentices to join Australia’s leading automotive service network. This 4-year program combines hands-on workshop learning with trade-school training, guided by qualified trainers.

Your day-to-day will include minor servicing of light vehicles, oil changes, tyre rotations, brake inspections, and maintaining tools, while keeping the workshop tidy. You’ll graduate as a fully qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic.

Qualifications

• Must be Australian citizen or permanent resident.
• Mechanically minded with a genuine interest in the trade.
• Commit to a full-time 4-year apprenticeship, including practical studies.
• Strong self-motivation with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to follow safe work practices.
• Current driver’s license or near obtaining one is preferred.
• Certificate II in Automotive or demonstrated experience is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor servicing of light vehicles (oil changes, tyre rotations, brake inspections).
• Use and maintain workshop tools and equipment, keeping the workshop clean and organized.
