Job summary

Teys Australia in Wagga Wagga, NSW, is seeking an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team. You will support with the upkeep of production systems, perform mechanical work, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding, and help keep lines running smoothly in a high-volume meat processing environment.

You will be a full-time employee from day one, with an hourly wage starting at 27.63 AUD, occasional overtime, penalties, and access to our discounts, EAP, and PPE.

Qualifications

• Apprentice Mechanical Fitter role in a maintenance team.
• Focus on preventative and reactive maintenance with production lines and plant areas.
• TAFE blocks commence February 2027 as part of the apprenticeship.
