Groundsperson Apprentice

Salary: $23.34 per hour first year; $24.90 per hour second year; $26.45 per hour third year; $28.01 per hour fourth year. Full Time | (age related rates apply if under 18). Location: Movie World, Oxenford, Gold Coast.

The Opportunity

Warner Brothers Movie World is seeking their next apprentice Groundsperson to assist with park presentation. If this sounds like you, apply TODAY!

Key Responsibilities

• Starting your day bright and early between 5:00–5:30am and wrapping up by 1:30–2:00pm (with a super early finish every 5th shift based on business needs!)
• Tackling all things landscaping and garden maintenance
• Mowing, hedging, spraying and taking on general labouring duties
• Operating, maintaining and cleaning tools and machinery
• Bringing energy and pride to every space you touch
• Keeping our parks safe and stunning by following all policies and procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Passionate about the outdoors
• A safe and confident driver, a manual licence is highly desirable
• Committed to Workplace Health & Safety and keeping yourself and others safe
• Fit, strong, and ready for hands-on work (lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, you name it!)
• Reliable, flexible, and ready to rise with the sun — including weekends and school holidays
