Cumberland City Council offers an Apprentice - Golf Course position located 20km west of Sydney. This role combines on-the-job experience with the nationally recognised Certificate III Sports Turf Maintenance, through TAFE or an RTO.
The successful applicant will work across Auburn and Woodville Golf Courses, with travel to various council worksites. The role is 35 hours per week, with access to a 9-day fortnight RDO and a salary under the NSW Local Government (State) Award, plus 12%

The Apprentice - Golf Course is responsible for undertaking activities that will assist in the maintenance of Council’s high profile sportsfields and golf courses and ensure that these open spaces remain in excellent condition, safe and suitable for use by the community to assist in ensuring customer and community satisfaction with Council’s parks operations.
This apprenticeship offers a combination of on-the-job work experience combined with the completion of a nationally recognised qualification, Certificate III Sports Turf Maintenance, through TAFE or a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
