You will learn to handle glass safely, fabricate frames, install shower screens and glazing systems while gaining practical skills on site. Eligible candidates must have working rights in Australia and a valid licence would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
• Licence and reliable vehicle are preferred.
• Apprenticeship/traineeship eligibility requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Use, handle and store glass and glazing products and consumables.
• Glaze and re-glaze residential windows and doors.
• Fabricate and assemble metal frames.

• Use, handle and store glass and glazing products and consumables
• Glaze and re-glaze residential windows and doors
• Fabricate and assemble metal frames
• Fabricate and instal insect and security screens
• Assess glass and glazing requirements
• Fabricate and instal shower screens and wardrobe doors
• Instalresidential windows and doors
• Fabricate and instal commercial glazing
• Prepare and instal architectural engineered glazing
• Conduct commercial and structural re-glazing
• Prepare and instal mirrors and glass splashbacks
• Carry out maintenance work on domestic and commercial properties

The successful candidate will:
