Please note that to be a successful candidate for this role you’ll be required to complete a pre‑employment basic skills assessment and medical check (medical assessment will include a drug and alcohol test, sight and hearing, functional and medical component).
*Successful candidates will be required to obtain a General Construction Induction Card (White Card) prior to commencing on Monday, 1 February 2027.
Salary: The salary for this apprenticeship ranges from approximately $32,500 to $55,300 in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award. Your salary will be determined based on your age, qualifications, and any previous work experience. Superannuation (12%) is additional.
An allowance of $101.32 per week will also apply (Water Allowance).
Location: Upon commencement your normal place of work will be the MidCoast Water Services Depot located at Taree, Muldoon Street. Taree. You will also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
Tenure: Full-time 38 hours per week over a 48-month period.
