Job summary

Lift Industries on the Gold Coast seeks an Apprentice Fabricator/Welder to learn welding across MIG, TIG and Arc processes while working on diverse fabrication projects. You will gain hands-on experience by reading drawings, measuring, cutting and assembling components in a modern workshop.

No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role is full-time with on‑the‑job mentoring and opportunities to develop highly sought‑after trade skills, with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; training provided on the job.
• School leavers are encouraged to apply.
• Holder of a current manual driver's licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Weld using MIG, TIG and Arc processes per project requirements.
• Read and interpret workshop drawings to prepare components.
• Measure, mark and cut materials to specification.
• Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely.
• Assemble and finish fabricated products with quality control.
• Follow safe work practices and site/ workshop procedures.
