Job summary

Queensland Government invites applications for a temporary full-time Engineering Tradesperson (Electrical) based with Townsville Hospital and Health Service. The role provides hands-on work experience paired with formal TAFE studies, and you will assist Electrical Tradespersons in their day-to-day tasks.

Working within Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services, you will help with asset management, maintenance, minor works and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening required and current National Police Certificate.
• Vaccination risk role with Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and TB.
• Valid Class C driving licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Electrical Tradespersons in day-to-day activities.
• Support minor works, asset maintenance and project delivery under supervision.
