Job summary

Prestige Renewables is seeking motivated apprentices for an Apprentice Electrician / Trade Assistant role in solar and electrical projects. This full-time position offers hands-on training, mentorship from experienced technicians, and exposure to cutting-edge solar, battery, and EV charging systems.

Ideal candidates are committed to learning, own a valid driver’s licence, and are excited about a career in renewable energy with opportunities to advance to fully qualified electrician roles.

Qualifications

• Interest in solar, electrical and renewable energy.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the trade.
• Driver’s licence required.
• Past teamwork or customer-facing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist tradesmen with solar and electrical installations.
• Load and prepare materials, run cabling, mount equipment and learn system commissioning.
• Support residential maintenance, air conditioning installs and switchboard upgrades.
• Use job management and safety apps to document work.
• Maintain tidy, safe work areas and uphold Prestige Renewables standards.

• You don’t need to know everything - we’ll teach you.

• Extra points if you’re a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year apprentice looking for better training and more opportunity

Your Day-to-Day
