AKD Softwoods invites motivated individuals to join its Colac site as an Electrical Apprentice. You will gain qualification through a Certificate III in Electrotechnology - Electrician and work on industrial equipment under a hands-on training program led by our Training Manager.
As an apprentice electrician you will install, repair and maintain electrical parts of equipment, interpret diagrams, perform preventative maintenance, fault analysis and PLC logic support.

As an Apprentice Electrician you will gain qualification in Certificate III in Electrotechnology - Electrician.
AKD electricians are trained in industrial and systems engineering, and they use this knowledge to trouble-shoot, maintain, and install electrical equipment. They apply trade skills and experience to a wide range of maintenance and installation situations supporting our industry leading equipment (eg. Artificial Intelligence).
