Job summary

R N Baker Switchboards in Cardiff, NSW, is seeking an Apprentice Electrical Fitter to join our team and support the construction of high-quality electrical switchboards. You will work in our factory, learning from skilled electricians and performing wiring, busbar assembly, and testing tasks.

Training at TAFE toward Certificate III in Electrotechnology will be provided, with opportunities to contribute to diverse projects across Australia.

Qualifications

• Motivated and enthusiastic candidate with basic manual handling ability.
• Experience in electrical industry is a plus, but not essential.
• Able to operate tools and learn trade-specific equipment under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist tradespersons in constructing electrical switchboards & protective/control components.
• Perform electrical circuit wiring tasks.
• Make and install custom busbar systems.
• Conduct functional testing of completed projects.
• Support manufacturing team to meet delivery goals under guidance.
